solo. is located in San Pedro, an often forgotten part of the city of Los Angeles. San Pedro is home to an impressive group of artists, but the artist community could benefit from increased exposure.

solo. was founded in the fall of 2024 by Peter Scherrer. He had no intention of running a gallery, but a space that was ideally suited for a gallery opened up, and he decided to seize it.

solo. the gallery stages shows by artists whose work Scherrer respects and with whom he gets along. An artist himself, he looks to treat artists as he would like to be treated by a gallery.
